The Play!

And here I am, once again for a very overdue blog post πŸ˜› This past week has been very crazy and emotional, and I wasn’t quite feeling up to a blog post πŸ˜› But… the week before last was our production of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe! πŸ˜€ And it was amazing! We had just a couple of minor things go wrong, but all in all it was a wonderful performance! I can’t begin to explain what these weeks getting ready for the play has been like. It has been a lot of fun, but it’s also been challenging, hard work, and stressful at times. But it was worth every minute of it πŸ™‚

Blank Pages- Picture time!

Pictures from Friday after it was all over! We were all sooooooooooooooooo tired…. But it was a good kind of tired πŸ™‚ In this picture I’m holding my wonderful little niece, and the other person is the sister of my brother’s fiance! So she’s my honorary sister ^,^ And also the photobomber in the back… O.o

And now it’s all over… After we all came down off that stage Friday I was rather relieved, but now, I’m rather sad πŸ™ Those days working with the other cast members to figure out what to do in a situation that our director set up for us, practicing my lines with siblings, talking in British accents, making costumes, etc. But I’m hopeful thatΒ  we’ll be doing another production soon! This is the first play that our homeschool group has done in several years, and this production was by far the biggest. But everyone really enjoyed it, and it was such a good experience, and because it turned out so well, I think it’s very possible that there will be more! If you ever have the chance to be in a theatrical production, I highly recommend doing it πŸ™‚ Even if you don’t think you’re a very good actor, chances are you may surprise yourself! Even if you just volunteer as a stagehand, they’re just as important as an actor! We couldn’t have done our play without the two stagehands we had backstage πŸ™‚

It’s all over… But I still have the hope of doing it again to cling to! Go and be in a play, peoples, it’s worth it ^,^

Forever an actor,
